Tropical honeydew melon undertone meets blackberry, vanilla, walnut, and semisweet chocolate for a full, bold cup.
This honey-process coffee from Colombia explodes with flavor, making a delicious drip, French press, or delectably fruit-forward iced coffee.
Coming from the Nariño Department, this roast represents a collective of about two hundred mostly indigenous smallholders around Aponte Village, about 5600 to 6900 feet above sea level (1700-2100 meters). Aponte village is located in the Andes mountains, nestled between moors and volcanoes where the high elevation and lower humidity and temperatures foster an ideal microclimate for coffee.
Caturra coffees are a dwarf mutation of the Bourbon variety (think red, pink bourbon popular in Central and South America) grown at high elevation.
